New entry to the sportsbike market in Malaysia is the 2025 Kove Moto 450R, priced at RM33,888 excluding road tax, insurance and registration. Closest competition for the 450R in Malaysia is the CFMoto 450NK priced at RM23,888 and the 451 cc Kawasaki Z500 SE, priced at RM30,100, with the 450R standing alone in its category as an inline-four cylinder naked sports bike.
Styling for the 450R closely resembles that streetfighter from that Italian brand, along with headlight assembly very closely mimicking the look. Power for the 450R comes from an inline-four cylinder mill displacing 443 cc with liquid-cooling and DOHC, with output claimed to be 65.3 hp at 12,000 rpm with 40 Nm of torque at 9,000 rpm.
Power goes through a six-speed gear with slip and assist clutch, and chain drive to the rear wheel. Curb weight for the 450R is listed at 164 kg, with 17-litres of fuel carried in the tank, while seat height is set at 795 mm and the claimed maximum speed is 205 km/h.
Braking is done with twin Taisko dual-piston callipers on the front wheel, clamping 300 mm diameter discs. Meanwhile the rear wheel is stopped with single disc and single-piston Taisko calliper.
For suspension the 450R gets an upside-down fork in front with 41 mm diameter stanchions, non-adjustable, with a preload-adjustable monoshock at the back. Riding electronics includes two ride modes, two-channel ABS and launch control, with riding information displayed on a TFT-LCD instrument panel.
